Dave Perkins really started with the desire to express himself when he bought his first guitar at age thirteen. Soon he grew as a songwriter and musician as he wrote and performed with country and bluegrass artists in the seventies, even playing guitar and providing backing vocals for music legend Carole King. This, while impressive, would only be the tip of the iceberg.
Dave Perkins has worked alongside artists in the Christian realm like Steve Camp, Amy Grant, Steve Taylor, DC Talk, Randy Stonehill, The Newsboys and a slew more. He was also part of the bands Passafist and Chagall Guevara and has put out two albums of his own ranging from pop-rock to blues. He has slowed his output in recent years because of his health, but his talent and skill cannot be denied.
