1980

Kerry Livgren gained national fame as part of the mainstream band, Kansas. Throughout the 1970s, Kansas were one of the most popular progressive rock bands with many hits such as "Dust In The Wind," and "Carry On Wayward Son." In 1980, after years of spiritual searching, Kerry accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. His music on the post-conversion Kansas albums (Audio Visions, Vinyl Confessions, and Drastic Measures) all reflect his new Christian viewpoint, as well as his 1980 solo debut, Seeds Of Change. After Kansas, Kerry formed the band AD. After AD disbanded, Kerry continued to record music as a solo artist.
