On August 19, 2010, Michael Been died of a heart attack while on tour with the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. He was the founding member of the 80's alt-rock band The Call and was well known in Christian music circles as a studio bass musician and songwriter. "I Still Believe" was one of his more popular songs and was recorded by Russ Taff and others.
