Janna Potter Long, born in Florence, South Carolina, is a member of the contemporary Christian pop band, Avalon. Janna is married to fellow Avalon band member Greg Long as of May 13, 2000, and has 3 daughters: Lillian, born 2004, Julia, born 2006, and Eleanor, born 2010. At present, Janna is the only original member of Avalon, singing alto and has been a member for 14 years. In October 2002 she released a solo project called Janna on Sparrow Records; on which a hit song was released, "Greater Is He" peaking at #2 in the Christian charts. However, with the project finished, Janna has since returned to Avalon.
