Brian Becker was a pop/rock singer from Williamsville Missouri. He earned electrical and computer engineering degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985 and merged his audio engineering skills with his vocal abilities. He was a pioneer in the use of MIDI technology, enabling the connection of multiple musical instruments and synthesizers.
Brian released three albums as an independent artist before being signed to Benson Records in 1990. He released two albums for the label and had two top 25 songs.
Since his music career, Brian went on to run the first local internet service in Southeast Missouri and helped create one of the first Open Access networks in the United States.
