Mike Rogers

Playing rhythm guitar, drums and singing tenor for Skaggs full-time has been a dream come true for Mike, but he still manages to make time for other creative projects. He is also a member of “country, bluegrass, gospel dream team” Brothers of the Heart, which is made up of himself, Jimmy Fortune, Ben Isaacs, and Bradley Walker. Since 2020, they have released 3 studio albums and 3 live performance DVD’s. Their easy-going attitudes and strong interpersonal relationships have created an organic chemistry that their fans adore. With the support of Gaither Music Group, they have easily become one of their top selling acts. After 22 years in Nashville, Mike has accomplished more than he ever imagined. From playing the Grand Ole Opry nearly 400 times; having several songs recorded by artists like- Firehouse, Craig Morgan, Doyle Lawson, Lonesome River Band, Jimmy Fortune, Emily Ann Roberts, Dillon Carmichael, and Kristy Cox; playing on 3 Grammy-nominated albums- Tim Menzies, The Isaacs, and Becky Isaacs; and playing at least once in all 50 states of America. Mike currently plays DW Drums and Red Cymbals while on the road with Ricky Skaggs.
