Debby Kerner is best known as co-creator of Psalty the Singing Song Book, a series of children’s musical albums. But she started off as a solo Christian singer in 1969. She released a solo album on Maranatha! Music in '72 and served as worship leader at Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa California.
While she was at Calvary Chapel, she met Ernie Rettino, and the two began making music together in the mid seventies. The two were married in 1976 and went on to create a number of projects aimed at children. In 2006, Debby became the Director of Worship Leadership at Saddleback church in California.
