Barnabas was formed in 1977 and existed under various lineups until 1983. The earliest lineup recorded a 45 RPM Single in 1979 with the songs "Directory Assistance," and "Nicodemus." The classic lineup that solidified in 1983 (with the Approaching Light Speed album) was Nancy Jo Mann, Gary Mann, Kris Klingensmith and Brian Belew.
