Unspoken to release new five song EP 'The World Is Waking'

Nashville, TN - Following the success of their top ten hit, "Who You Are", Unspoken is poised to release their second EP on Centricity Music, The World Is Waking. The 5-song project will be exclusively available to online digital music outlets June 25th, with physical copies on sale at all Unspoken tour dates. The album was produced by the award-winning songwriter and producer, Seth Mosley, and the single, "Lift My Life Up," was co-written by Mosley, Unspoken and Jason Ingram. The song will be going for adds at radio on June 14th.

"The very first time I heard Unspoken perform, I was blown away and couldn't wait to introduce them to our listeners!,” says Joe Buchanan, Network Music Director, New Life Media. “Who You Are quickly became a listener favorite and I believe Lift My Life Up will have an even greater impact!’

The band named the EP, The World Is Waking to reinforce the realization that we need daily discipline to follow God’s will for a successful life. “Every day, the world wakes to a new opportunity to forget what is behind and move forward,” explains Chad Mattson, lead singer for Unspoken. “God’s mercies are new every morning. All of us are working to try to find peace. The older I get, I just want peace for my soul and my heart and my brain on a day-to-day basis. You can't buy it. Success can't bring it. It's just resting in the Lord. The main focus must be taking the day as what it is, as an opportunity to draw closer to God, to love Him and others.”

The World Is Waking presents Unspoken as a more mature band with stronger vocals and more powerful performances. The new single launches the project and reinforces the album title with a conviction of continual surrender no matter how difficult the walk, and with the second song, Everything, focusing on our total dependency on God at all times. "In Your Hands" is a powerful ballad that gently sends the message of spending quiet time with God to really get to know Him, and the song showcases the vocal talents of Mattson as he expertly delivers the message without overselling the tune.

The world is waking and I am here to meet you on my knees
When I'm with you my soul finds rest
Cause I can leave it in your hands

A lesson about leaving your old life behind is highlighted in "Walking Away" and "Bury The Workman" delivers the spiritual message with a soulful, bluesy sound that is reminiscent of the old southern gospel tunes, and verifies the musical depth of Unspoken.

Unspoken has a busy tour season coming up this summer and in the fall will join Big Daddy Weave’s The Only Name Tour that also features Chris August. For more updates on Unspoken please visit online at www.unspokenmusic.com.
