Carrollton was both Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky in 2008 as Mosteller, but changed their name in 2013. At the conclusion of the Shelter Tour in 2018, it was announced that founding members Justin Mosteller and Joel Rousseau would be leaving the band.
